Using the Thinkific Learning Platform

As a BACB Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) provider, the Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP) is using this online learning platform to offer CEU credit for recorded CASP webinars. CASP is also using Thinkific to provide access to the CASP Organizational Guidelines.

Please note:

  1. The same login credentials can be used to access both CEU offerings and the CASP Organizational Guidelines.
  2. All purchased content is available for review from your Thinkific Dashboard. 
  3. Whether CEU offerings or chapters in the CASP Organizational Guidelines, the Thinkific platform refers to all content as “courses”.  
  4. A list of all CEU offerings can be found by selecting “CASP CEU Courses” on the page header.
  5. The CASP Organizational Guidelines Table of Contents can be found by selecting “CASP Organizational Guidelines” on the page header.

A note about "sections"

By default, the Thinkific platform separates each component of a course into "sections". For example most CEU courses offered here include:

  1. A recording of the webinar
  2. A short quiz to verify attendance (see below re: "Instructions to Receive CEU credit")
  3. A short survey


Each "course card" found on the course catalog automatically lists the number of  sections. Therefore, most CEU Courses offered  have 3 sections:

   The CASP Organizational Guidelines chapters include:

  1. Introductory to the CASP Organizational Guidelines
  2. The selected chapter(or chapters if a bundle is purchased) 
  3. A short optional survey

Using a Coupon Code at Checkout

Employees of CASP member organizations are entitled to free CEU offerings and free access to the CASP Organizational Guidelines with a valid coupon code. In most cases, the coupon code will be your organization’s CASP Member ID#. (If you cannot remember your CASP member ID number, you can retrieve it in your Member Compass.) In other cases, you may have been issued a unique coupon code. 

When using a coupon code on this site, you must first select the “Buy” button associated with the course before you will see the option to enter the code.


  1. Once a course has been selected, please click the blue "Buy" button:   
  2. Then click the highlighted link, "Have a coupon?"   
  3. Enter your coupon code where indicated and click the blue "Apply" button. 
  4. Proceed with checkout.


Instructions to Receive CEU Credit

CASP is a BACB Authorized Continuing Education (ACE) provider. In order to issue CEU credit, ACE Providers must monitor participant attendance.

In these recorded webinars, a series of key words will appear in the bottom right corner of the video for 20 seconds, approximately every 15 minutes. 


 


As you are watching, please make note of all CEU Key Words as they appear. The total number of CEU Key Words appearing in each webinar can be found immediately below the recording.

Please note:

  • Attendees must complete a short quiz and accurately identify all CEU Key Words in order to receive their CEU certificate.
  • The toolbar (e.g., fast forwarding and rewind) has been disabled for recorded webinars offered for CEU. Please be sure to note the key words as they appear to prevent the need to re-watch the entire video. 
  • The complete name of the webinar in the course description may be slightly different than what appears on your CEU certificate. Due to Thinkific's default limitations in formatting  certificates, in some cases the webinar name had to be shortened in order to fit on the certificate. In such cases, the course name on your certificate will appear as the "Short Title" as indicated in the course description.  


If you do not want CEU credit, all webinars offered here are available free of charge on the CASP website with fast forwarding enabled.
