Vendor Training on the Use of CASP's ABA Session Note Templates

Original Air Date: October 10, 2024

CEU offered: None (However, a certification of completion will be issued.)

Webinar Duration: 60 minutes

CE Instructors:

  • Rebecca Womack
  • Heather O'Shea

Abstract:

The CASP Documentation Special Interest Group (SIG) has worked for several years to create a session note template for each adaptive behavior CPT Code that:

  • Is in alignment with standard medical documentation practices and
  • reflects generally accepted standards of care for ABA services in accordance with AMA CPT code requirements.

The hope is that a CASP-endorsed set of session note templates will result in broad payer adoption of their use and decreased administrative effort for ABA providers.

Rebeca Womack, MS, LBA, BCBA, and Heather O’Shea, PhD, BCBA-D, have led this effort and will share a brief history of the project, the work process, why vendors may be interested in this product, and how you can utilize these templates.

This webinar may be of greatest value to vendors who offer session documentation as part of their platforms.

Access to the templates

Upon successful completion of this course, users will receive a link to complete a Terms of Use agreement before downloading the CASP ABA Session Note Templates.
