Abstract: 

Hiring and retaining staff is critical to our field's mission of providing quality services as our field continually grows and evolves. Hiring and retaining quality staff is especially critical during this unprecedented time of simultaneous crises. Data-based decision making on retention initiatives is crucial for organizational health and the improvement of our field, yet time-consuming and costly. Join us for a candid discussion about successful staff retention initiatives and those that were not successful - possibly even epic failures!

President, CEO, The Reilly Behavioral Group, LLC Maria Sasaki Solis, MPH, BCBA

Maria is the President of The Reilly Behavioral Group, LLC. Maria has been working with children with special needs and their families since 2003. She has served/serves on various committees for CalABA and CASP, presented to parent and community groups, as well as at professional conferences. Maria has taught at the graduate level, at the University of West Florida and at Santa Clara University. Maria graduated from Santa Clara University, magna cum laude, phi beta kappa and has an MPH from Johns Hopkins University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in ABA at Endicott College.

BCBA, LBA, M.S. Ed Jennifer Dantzler

Jennifer is the Founder & Executive Director of Including Kids Autism Center. Jennifer holds a Post Graduate Certificate of Autism from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, in addition to an M.S. Ed. in Intensive Special Needs from Simmons College, Boston, MA. She did her undergraduate work at American University, Washington, D.C. where she earned a B.A. in Elementary/Special Education. Jennifer is a Licensed Behavior Analyst and she is also certified in Special Education/Intensive Special Needs in Texas. She is currently venturing into young adult services and speaks professionally at local and national conferences on a regular basis to help spread autism awareness, including The World Autism Organisation Conference and The Council of Autism Service Providers (CASP). The rate of autism continues to increase at an alarming rate and that need is what continues to drive her to do more, build more and want more for families with autism.

Clinical Director, DelMar Center for Behavioral Health Becca Tagg, MEd, EdS, PsyD, BSCP, BCBA

Dr. Becca is originally from Pennsylvania. She moved to North Carolina during college at UNCW and fell in love with the area. Despite moving around to further her education, she knew she wanted to return to the crystal coast. Dr. Becca is an active participant in local and national associations focused on improving knowledge and service delivery for psychology, behavior analysis, and psychopharmacology. She is passionate about outreach and welcomes contact regarding speaking engagements as well as supervision or mentoring interests.
