Abstract:

Collaboration with parents is a key component of a strong intervention program for children with ASD. The additional stressors that have come with COVID-19 have increased the responsibilities of both parents and clinicians often leaving fewer resources available for parent training and guidance and yet haven’t decreased the importance of parent consultation. This session will focus on strategies for supporting parents during different stages of the pandemic for the ultimate gain of the identified client.
