Abstract:

Training and clinician development are pertinent to the health of an organization and potentially reflected in the outcomes of clients receiving services. Large scale organizations are tasked with managing staff training, clinical development of skills, and effective treatment of their clients. This presentation will focus on clinical supervision, clinical training, clinical training best practices, and strategies to ensure quality treatment is provided within large scale organizations. Programs such as an apprentice model for supervision, peer review processes for treatment plans, leadership and manager training, and quality treatment are all effective strategies to ensure large scale organizations provide effective treatment resulting in positive client outcomes. The importance of having a structured model of clinical training and development helps to ensure clinical excellence. This presentation will encourage active participant engagement to provide attendees with the tools they can utilize to improve their organizational health.
