Abstract:
By definition, excellence is the quality of being outstanding or extremely good. In practice, excellence is an admirable goal though one, which can never be fully achieved. As we excel, we must also continue to raise the bar and set a new standard of excellence for ourselves. Part of integrating this approach into our clinical practice is to surround ourselves with competent and compassionate leaders. At Breakthrough Behavior, we believe one never wants to be the smartest person in the room; for people smarter than us can see things we cannot. This mentality also teaches us to be okay with failure, which is a natural part of the learning process and necessary for growth. In this presentation, we will review current practices within our organization at Breakthrough Behavior, which we feel help in our ongoing pursuit for excellence while maintaining an ethical adherence to innovation, compassion, and accountability in all that we do.
